Waxing Sentimental
Three weeks went by way too fast. I am not ready to leave Thailand!
Today I finished my last set of classes for my masters degree (woo hoo!) and have homework until May (hmm) and comprehensive exams in April (oh boy…). Tomorrow I leave Chiang Mai in the early evening and land on Sunday morning in Los Angeles. From there I am driving to San Bernardino for a Light for the Lost (LFTL) Banquet, and so begins my jump into the LFTL tour in Southern California.
I am so glad to have had this time in Thailand, to reconnect with friends, learn, and have a good reminder of why God has called me here and what He wants me to do. This was my shortest trip to Thailand, and I am having a hard time because I don’t know just yet when I will return. But, I try to take comfort in the fact that the next time I come to Thailand, I will be moving here for my first term! God, please help me.
Thank you for your prayers for safe travels, no lost luggage, and a safe trip to San Bernardino. Please pray also for a beneficial LFTL tour these next three weeks.
