Two and a Half Days

Day 1: Landed at 9:00am; smoothly glided through customs (even my bike!); hung out with Mark and Janie – found a hotel, went shopping for some things for the English Center, lunch at our friend Milk’s restaurant; went to TLC to meet the Evangel Team; met my friends Wor and Paew at the mall for some food and talk; had dinner with my friend Jake; slept for 6.5 hrs!

Day 2: Woke up and went on a 6mi run (wow it’s hot here); went shopping again with Mark and Janie for coffee shop furniture and plants; looked at some condos for housing options; met team again; bought bike tools and put my bike together!!!; dinner at Durene’s house with E team, King and Apple (my pastors), Prin and Jake (friends); rode home on a motorbike! woo hoo.

Day 3: 6-11am went on 63.85mi bike ride out to the hot springs, with a stop at 10:30 for an early dim sum lunch. What next?! I’m feeling adventurous…

Thank you so much for your prayers regarding my travel and safety. Please continue to pray for my housing situation, that I will find a house quickly. Also, please pray for the Evangel Team and the beginning of the English Center on TUESDAY.  So far we have 14 students registered (yay!) but would like a few dozen more.
