Psalm 89:1-4

1 I will sing of the steadfast love of the LORD, forever;

   with my mouth I will make known Your faithfulness to all generations.

2 For I said, “Steadfast love will be built up forever;

   in the heavens You will establish Your faithfulness.”

3 You have said, “I have made a covenant with My chosen one;

   I have sworn to David My servant:

4 ‘I will establish Your offspring forever,

   and build Your throne for all generations.’” Selah

LORD we sing of Your steadfast love forever, that You have shown to us through Your Son Jesus. We want to make known Your faithfulness to all generations! You have kept Your covenants to Abraham and David, and You are still faithful until this day. You have placed Jesus on the eternal throne of Your Kingdom and we are grateful to know this King. Thank You for Your steadfast love and faithfulness in our lives. Please reveal Your steadfast love and faithfulness to people in the Buddhist world. Amen.

Prayer:

Hebrews 1:1-4 

1 Long ago, at many times and in many ways, God spoke to our fathers by the prophets, 2 but in these last days He has spoken to us by His Son, whom He appointed the heir of all things, through whom also He created the world. 3 He is the radiance of the glory of God and the exact imprint of His nature, and He upholds the universe by the word of His power. After making purification for sins, He sat down at the right hand of the Majesty on high, 4 having become as much superior to angels as the name He has inherited is more excellent than theirs.

Father God, we praise You and we praise Jesus the Son. Father, You created the world through Your Son. Please reveal Jesus as Creator in the Buddhist world. Please show Buddhists that Jesus is the radiance of Your glory and the exact imprint of Your nature. Please reveal Jesus’ deity and power to Buddhists who do not recognize Him as God. We praise You for upholding the whole universe by Jesus and the word of Your power! Please reveal Your word and Your power to people in the Buddhist world who have never had a chance to hear about You. Show them that Jesus has made a way for them to be purified from their sins, and that He is seated in the place of highest authority over every other thing that they serve. In this powerful Name of Jesus we pray, Amen.
