Newsletter posted!

Sorry I haven’t been blogging as I should have — it’s been a reeeeeeeeeeally busy month!  But here’s my latest newsletter with some pictures and updates. Enjoy!

A Picture is Worth 1,000 Words

So I’m making up for my lack of blogging by posting a lot of pictures! March = missionary meetings in Bangkok and teaching at an English Camp for the Engineering Faculty at Chiang Mai University April = Asia Pacific Youth Leaders’ Consultation in Bangkok and classes at TLC English Center

Bad Blogger!

Here I am again feeling guilty for not posting more often, or posting more interesting things.  Thailand is a shame-based culture, rather than guilt-based (as America is), so I’m feeling shame also.  Shame shame shame! A smattering of random updates to hold me over until I muster enough energy  to post a good blog… – Bronchitis is over! Praise God for His healing power and […]

New Newsletter

I just posted my latest newsletter, with exciting things about young believers and the English Center.  Check it out here, and see past newsletters here.

Shame on me! So here’s an update

I am a bad blogger. Maybe when I write blogs they could turn out alright, but as far as sitting down and actually writing them, well….. I hang my head in shame. Here are some updates from the last month or so… John, Nok, and Iew were baptized in September!  These are my small group members who came to Christ at the beginning of this […]

New newsletter posted

I put several pictures in my latest newsletter, which you can find here.  Thanks for your prayers and support!

Curfew was imposed throughout […]

Thailand in the News

By now you may have seen Bangkok making headlines.  I wanted to post a simple description of what is going on here. For slightly sensational and up-to-the-minute news, check out Bangkok Post or The Nation. I wrote a few blog entries last time there was political upheaval here, and you can read them here: 1) Nov 26, 2008; 2) Dec 1, 2008; and 3) Dec […]

If I had Twitter…

I think Twitter was made for people like me. I have a random mind. I think of random things at random times in random places.  One close friend said that my brain is like iTunes on shuffle mode.  Twitter would be a great outlet for my random thoughts. But I don’t “tweet.”  For one reason, I still live in the dark ages with a phone […]
