If I had Twitter…
I think Twitter was made for people like me. I have a random mind. I think of random things at random times in random places. One close friend said that my brain is like iTunes on shuffle mode. Twitter would be a great outlet for my random thoughts.
But I don’t “tweet.” For one reason, I still live in the dark ages with a phone that doesn’t have internet access (gasp! and yet I survive just fine), and when I think these random things in random places I’m usually not around my computer to put it online. For another reason, I think I could easily fall into the black hole of “following” people and reading tweets all day long.
So if I had Twitter, this is what I would have said the last few days:
– I would like to thank all my supporters for the gift of air conditioning.
– How does Toyota think they can sell more cars by setting up shop in the middle of the mall and hiring some dude to rap and dance to “We will we will rock you” and “I like to move it move it”?
– Not sure how I feel about strawberry cream Oreos. Probably better with ice cream.
– It must be the season for baby geckos. And it must be the season for dead baby geckos on my floor. The grown-up ones have more survival skills (and luck, probably) than I thought.
– I love it when I wai without thinking. [a wai is the traditional Thai greeting with hands pressed together at the chin]
– We have about 30 students at TLC right now. I smile when I think about that.
– Coming to Thailand introduced me to Japanese food. And I love it.
– Why is it that my laundry always finishes at the wrong time? Oh, probably because I didn’t think things through when I started it.
– I need to go shop for a decent desk chair.
– If I had Twitter, would anyone really “follow” me? Is it worth it? Mostly I don’t have Twitter because I think people wouldn’t really care.
– I should blog more. 🙂
We would follow you, Lauren… but we don’t have internet on our phones either. I actually think you can text to update your twitter. I had it in America and I would text my random thoughts, but they were never as good as yours. Scott cut me off too because I texted my random thoughts to twitter too much…and it cost a lot!
I think it is the season for baby geckos… we see a lot here too. Sut sut Baby Geckos!!!!
I would follow you! I only tweet when I am near a computer, which is rare. And it is linked to facebook!
I’d follow you! I also live in the dark ages, but I can text tweets and receive tweets as texts.
I don’t have a twitter, otherwise I’d follow you. But if you linked it to Facebook, everyone could easily “follow” 🙂
